GENERAL

Wadsworth Design Inc. (WDI) warrants to the original purchaser that all equipment and salon furniture is made of first class material and is free from defects in material and workmanship for a limited period of time starting from the original date of purchase. All cabinets, upholstery, and salon furniture come with a limited 3-year warranty, except welded metal cabinet and seat frames which come with a limited 20-year structural warranty. Made in the USA. All Blum brand cabinet hardware including hinges, drawer slides, hinge plates and fixing brackets come with a limited lifetime warranty.

SHAMPOO BOWLS

WDI warrants its shampoo bowls to perform the service for which they are intended in a thoroughly reliable and efficient manner when properly installed and serviced by a licensed professional, for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Made in the USA. Installation and service by someone other than a licensed professional automatically voids all warranties. Shampoo bowl fixtures (faucets & vacuum breakers) have a 1-year (limited) warranty from date of purchase. All other parts warranted for 90 days from date of purchase.

During this period WDI will, at its option, repair or replace any part or parts with prove to be thus defective if returned to WDI. This shall be the sole remedy available under this warranty. No claims will be allowed for labor or other incidental costs. Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and all claims must be made through the distributor from whom the equipment was purchased.

This limited warranty does not cover the damage caused in transit, improper installation, excessive use or alteration. All warranties are limited to repair or replacement and remain at our discretion. Accessories and replacement parts may be available for purchase on select merchandise. Use of replacement parts provided by other manufacturers is not authorized by WDI voids all product warranties and may adversely affect equipment performance. Warranty service is provided by WDI only and requires that the product(s) be shipped and delivered to WDI for repair. The warranty does NOT cover shipping charges to and from our repair centers.

HYDRAULIC LIFTS

All hydraulic lifts are warranted to be free from defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Made in the USA. If the unit fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, WDI will repair or replace it free of charge. All hydraulic lifts older than two years, but less than six years, will be repaired or replaced with a remanufactured unit for a charge of $75 per unit.

All other hydraulic lift units will be repaired on a time and materials basis at a cost no less than $80 per unit and not to exceed the cost of a new unit. WDI offers no guarantee that replacement parts will be available for units over six years old. Any returned unit exhibiting evidence of improper use, abuse, misuse, accident or alteration will not be eligible for repair or replacement under this program. In all cases, units are to be returned to (WDI) freight prepaid. All units will be returned to the customer FOB our plant.

HOOD DRYERS

If any defect in the Motor Assembly, Heat Control, Timer, Heating Element or other components (excluding finish and hood) appears at any time within the first year after delivery to the customer, the unit will be repaired or replaced without a repair cost to the customer, providing that the customer pays all shipping charges to and from the Service Center. Made in the USA.

If any defect in the Motor Assembly, Heat Control, Timer, Heating Element or other components (excluding finish and hood) appears at any time within the second or third year after delivery to the customer, the unit will be updated with a new Motor-Blower Assembly as well as any parts that are required to put the dryer in operable condition for a cost of $65.

If any defect in the Motor Assembly, Heat Control, Timer, Heating Element or other components (excluding finish and hood) appears at any time after completion of the third year after delivery to the customer, the unit will be updated with a new Motor-Blower Assembly as well as any parts that are required to put the dryer in operable condition for a cost of $70.

NOTE: The charges do not cover any refinishing, removing of scratches or dents, etc. or any work required on the exterior of the unit. In all cases, units are to be returned to WDI freight prepaid. All units will be returned to the customer FOB our plant.

BARBERING CHAIR RECLINING MECHANISM

All barbering chair reclining mechanisms are warranted to be free from defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Made in the USA. If the unit fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

All barbering chair reclining mechanisms older than two years, but less than five years, will be repaired or replaced with a remanufactured unit for a charge of $35 per unit.

All other barbering chair reclining mechanism units will be repaired on a time and materials basis at a cost no less than $40 per unit and not to exceed the cost of a new unit. WDI offers no guarantee that replacement parts will be available for units over five years old.

POLICIES

Any returned unit exhibiting evidence of improper us, abuse, misuse, accident or alteration will not be eligible for repair or replacement under this program. In all cases, units are to be returned to WDI freight prepaid. All units will be returned to the customer FOB our plant.

ALL equipment and salon furniture are to be used and operated by qualified, trained and licensed professionals ONLY. WDI is NOT liable for any improper use of equipment and furniture or any other consequential damages, including without limitation: fire, water, abuse and misuse. WDI does not warrant color variation with wood, fabric, and laminated materials. Fabrics and laminated materials are not warranted against wear, fading, staining, soiling, crushing, peeling, chipping, all of which are influenced by the user-created environment or to the care of which the product is exposed to during use.

Customers must receive prior authorization from WDI before merchandise subject to our warranty is shipped. Claims are to be made in writing to info@wadsworthdesign.com and must include pictures and description of the claimed defect. This warranty is a warranty of replacement and does not include the removal of defective parts or the reinstallation of the replacement parts, nor any equipment or furniture not installed by WDI. WDI is not responsible for any consequential damages and injuries resulting from equipment/furniture failure or service delays. In the event the defective product has been discontinued, WDI reserves the right to replace the defective product with a comparable current product.

These warranties are the only relief available. THESE WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WDI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES, EVEN IF IT HAS REASON TO KNOW IN ADVANCE THAT THEY ARE POSSIBLE. These warranties give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of damages, so the above exclusions and limitation may not apply to you. In the event the warranty exclusions do not apply to you then, where legally permissible, such implied warranties are limited in duration to the stated warranty period and no warranties apply after that period. In circumstances in which the warranties provided herein do not apply, the products involved are, where legally permissible, still subject to the above disclaimer of implied warranties and the above limitation of damages. WDI does not authorize anyone, including its dealers, to create for it any other warranty obligations, or liability in connection with its products.

THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. IN NO EVENT IS WADSWORTH DESIGN INC. RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE OF ANY MEASURE WHATSOEVER. THIS WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE.
